Jim is originally from North Carolina, he and
his family have vacationed on the Grand Strand
for many years, owned a vacation home,
investment |

property and is now living in Pawleys
Plantation. He has been an interested
participant in the rapid growth of Real Estate
along the Grand Strand. As a result, he has a
good understanding of the history and the
current circumstances affecting today’s Real
Estate Market.
Jim retired in October 2005, as a Vice President
of Human Resources, with an international,
Medical Imaging Manufacturer. In his previous
position, he was responsible for Union Contract
Negotiations, assisting employees with resolving
issues , and developing educational programs
for sales and marketing professionals . When he
was considering a second career, he was
convinced that the Negotiating, Listening,
Solving Problems, Sales & Marketing skills
would help him transition successfully to Real
Estate.
Jim and his wife Julia have been married for 41
years, have three children and seven grand
daughters. His hobbies include travel, golf,
and reading.

Jessica Roman,

Jessica Roman moved to Pawleys Island in 2006
with her husband and daughter. She pursued her
Realtors license after being a school teacher
for 9 years. She is a member of Georgetown
Hospital Systems Women’s Board, a Sunday school
teacher at Precious Blood of Christ Church and
an avid reader. She is a member of the Coastal
Carolina Association of Realtors and the
National Association of Realtors. |

Marianne has come to the office just helping out
her husband and filling in whenever needed. She
has ended up getting her license, running the
office and taking care of the rental properties.
(So much for retirement) She is a mother of two
grown daughters and three grandchildren. She
enjoys going to the gym, cooking and sewing. She
has worked with her husband Tom Luc in numerous
other businesses side by side over the last 37

United Country team in December of 2008 after
working 11 years as a successful mortgage and
finance recruiter. Raised in South Jersey until
the age of 14, Jon has been a local resident to
the area since 1986. He and his nearing teen
son Gabriel enjoy hockey, golf and surfing,
karate and the beach in general. He looks
forward to working with active home buyers and
